Catalog
You may import your product (and service) catalog, or enter it manually if it isn't too large.
- Bear in mind that if you are importing order history, every line item must be in the catalog!
- It is easiest if you import the framework for all items, but then add the "romance copy" from within CompleteDTC just for the products that are active.
Here are the fields we import:
sku-- the unique alphanumeric string that identifies the item- it is a best practice to use underscores rather than spaces (
CH_14_750rather thanCH 14 750) - this is a good time to re-think your SKU-naming conventions, to set up a solid framework for the future; feel free to ask us about our recommendations
